Austin, Texas

On our second day we got up, ate breakfast, and headed to Austin, Texas. We got to the Westin Hotel at 9pm to be greeted by wonderful amenities. Joe and I had a late night swim before we all headed to bed. The next day we got up and had an awesome breakfast at the Original Pancake House. So good!!! Then Mom and Dad did some work, while Quint chilled in his room, and Joe and I went shopping in the shopping center right outside of the hotel. We discovered an awesome theater that we would later go and see Spiderman at! Then we went back to the hotel and had a swim before we went into downtown Austin.

In downtown we had a fabulous Tex-Mex meal at the Iron Cactus. We walked around and heard music coming from the bars. Then we headed to the bridge on Congress street where there was supposed to be a tons of bats at dusk. Sadly there wasn't as many as we hoped for but it was still a beautiful night to be outside!

Then Quint, Joe, and I went to see Spiderman!!! The theater was fantastic! Although we didn't get any food, you could have your food delivered to you in your seat, which was either a push leather seat or a recliner. So nice!!! I felt like the 3D was also better than any one I had ever been to! Then we were able to walk back to the hotel and get a good night's rest before we headed to South Llano State Park the next day!
